“This song has a soul.” That’s all I can add to this great piece of creativity.

Hat’s off to late Mr. Rohan Rathore, who left the world peacefully; after emptying his best of the feelings, in this one song; ‘Emptyness’.
I am sharing the video with the Lyrics; for the ease of everyone.
O love of mine..
with a song and a whine..
You’re harsh and divine..
like truths and a lie.
But the tale’s end not here..
I’ve nothing to fear,
for my love is yell of giving and hold on.
In the bright emptiness..
in a room full of it..
is the cruel mistress o ho….
I feel the sunrise
that nest all hollowness
for I have the way to go, not come…
And I feel so lonely yea..
There’s a better place from this, emptiness..
And I’m so lonely yea..
There’s a better place from this, emptiness.. yei yei yei ya….
Aa.. aa.. aa…..
Tune mere jaana
Kabhi nahi jana
Ishq mera dard mera.. haaye…
Tune mere jaana
Kabhi nahi jana
Ishq mera dard mera……
Aashiq teraaa..
BheeD mein khoya rehta hai..
Jaane jahaaN..
Poochho to itna kehta hai..
And I feel so lonely yea..
There’s a better place from this, emptiness..

And I’m so lonely yea..
There’s a better place from this, emptiness……yei yei yei ye….:))

P.S: Rohan Rathore was a student from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwhati, India. He had terminal cancer.

He wrote and sang the song ‘Emptiness’ for Supriya – a girl he loved more than anything and anyone in the world. Unfortunately, she didn’t return his love. He sang about his hurt and longing, and even though they don’t end up together, this song was something he felt he had to do. He died just 15 days after recording the song.
After his demise, Supriya got to hear this song. She committed suicide in grief. Truly a very painful love story.

May your soul rest in peace, dear Rohan.

Concluding with a memorable quote I read in a bar recently “If you are in love today, you will surely visit this place tomorrow; for your Emptiness.”

Regards,
Sakht Jaani
